Challenging course conditions are sure to give the field a stiff test. Golfers will need to keep their tee shots on the fairways and hit landing areas to avoid unplayable knee-deep fescue rough.

Along with course management, focus and patience will be keys to success. Erin Hill’s length means stamina will be a must as golfers encounter a slower pace of play and rounds that could last up to six hours. The USGA will be monitoring wind and weather conditions with rain in the forecast and are set to make changes if the course becomes unplayable.
